Are there 18 electors for Bush who would vote for Kerry?
There is a nice article on Slate today by Timothy Noah who points out that if only 18 electors for Bush changed their minds and voted for Kerry (now is THAT a long-shot or what?), then John Kerry would become the next President. Noah points out that the margin in Ohio was only 118,776 votes....and if John Kerry had just gotten those votes....well you know what would have happened!
Let's be practical. Unless a recount shows a better result for John Kerry we can forget about those Electors voting our way! Instead, we shall have to buckle down, organize, promote, and support John Kerry for President in 2008. And THAT is what this blog is all about!
