Ratzinger Named Pope: Another Red State Candidate?
I suspect that Ratzinger is from a "red-state". Read this.
Unfortunately, unlike President Bush who didn't show up for his National Guard Duty in Alabama, Ratzinger showed up for duty at least for awhile.

Kerry bows out of '08 presidential race
Bob,
Thank goodness Kerry had the good sense to drop out of the 2008 race. He can do much more by spending time on promoting sane policy in Iraq. I hope you find another candidate who you can support with your great energy.
