What do YOU think?

I have been posting here for a couple of weeks and would love to have some of you comment. Have I made the argument for Kerry? Do you think he should or shouldn't run again in 2008? Why? Did any of you vote for Bush? Why?

Please help make this a community and not just a soapbox for me.

Just wanted to go ahead and leave a comment and say that I enjoy your blog and appreciate your efforts to work toward re-nominating Kerry in '08.

I really believe that Kerry in '08 would be in the best interests of our party, and it's never too early to start thinking about next time. Kerry really found his voice towards the end of the campaign especially. I am also greatly encouraged by his refusal, post-election, to back down; he has made it clear that he intends on being a leading voice in opposition to the Bush administration.

I hope Kerry can get the nomination again, and that there's no stigma associated with him for "losing" the election (did we ever get around to auditing those Diebold machines?). There are a number of potential heavyweight contenders for 2008: Dean, Gore, Hillary, Edwards, Obama. I think Kerry makes the most sense four years from now.

Thanks for the encouragement! I grew to appreciate Kerry as the campaign went on. His greatest weakness was his agreeing to limitations placed on him by his campaign. He didn't respond quickly enough to the Swift Boaters who distorted reality and whoever planted that memo with Dan Rather did an effective job of avoiding any scrutiny on the President's Guard Service!

Thanks so much for posting here and come back and visit soon!
